My Childhood City Beckons:

Childhood, however distorted and faded

continues to play an important role in adulthood:

The Hague, city of my childhood and  early adult years often beckons

My heart always beats faster when I am visiting

the old haunts from my distant youth

Dutch Mode of transport then and still now.

The Hague, the Netherlands. Dutch prefered Mode of transport then and still now.

  1. So well taken : a marvellous composition, well framed with the trees at the top right, and the buildings on the left, the cyclist getting into the picture, the other one following the lines leading to a vanishing point, the movement… beautiful colours… a definite WOW!

  2. Really super image, Paula – love the processing of course, but the image’s structure, the arrangement of the various items within it – especially the cyclist and that great red tram – are ideal. Once again, I am jealous! Adrian 🙂
