Blessed by Apollo, the god of Light and Music,
Town full of artists seeking inspiration for their arts and crafts.
Easy to see why; the old town , narrow streets, authenticity, the light ,
the harbour, its beach and the sea with a colour palette created by the muses.
A place one is drawn to again and again in all weathers and in all seasons.
Picture taken on one of my recent visits hoping to find its ‘soul’ !

What a beautiful photo. Sadly although it retains its beauty, its authenticity has gone and it sold its soul many years ago now.

Nice monochrome image! I like how the architecture borders the upper part of the frame — the detail in the shadows is maintained pretty well — despite the high contrast. Well done!

Oh tell me about it! – St Ives is one of my favourite places too, can’t get enough of it – especially when that wonderfully coloured sea is in on a sunny day! Could easily live there. Lovely image too. A
