  1. Nice contrast! The leaves look like blades — the angle and composition creates an interesting illusion of the tree reaching beyond the height of the buildings (and straight into the sky). If you look at the image just right (and long enough) — the tree appears to have truly gargantuan proportions!

    • Ha, ha..your imagination is creating havoc again! Sadly the tree has given up in the recent storm..you can see a week point and that is where it snapped and now it has been cut down completely as the resort has to look tidy. At least it has been immortalized by this shot!!

  2. Very much a picture of two parts, on the one hand the guest houses, and on the other “what you’ve done”(!) to the sky and the treetop. I like it – maybe the elements and the vegetable just can’t stand the gentility and respectability of it all any more! A
