Gorgeous St Ives
St Ives, Cornwall, UK
a jewel at all times of the year
a pearl come rain and shine.

St Ives, Cornwall. Many artists live there, not surprising.

I sell collectibles and art online and often find the things I've found have hilarious and at times, dark stories to tell. It's thrilling for me to be creatively random, so always expect the unexpected in the things I share with you.

Beautiful, eloquent image, and an absolutely favourite place of mine, especially on a sunny day with that wonderfully coloured tide in! A

Not a snap but a frame of mind.
Waiting for the exceptional, because beneath that sky anything can happen.

An elegant photo Paula. You’re right, St Ives and Cornwall, a jewel at all times of the year. Sennen Cove is a lovely place too – saw a number of basking sharks there, swimming in two circles. Met a surfer who’d been out swimming with them. I lived in Looe for a couple of years right opposite the Bullers Arms which was very convenient! 🙂

This looks fantastic in BW. Beautiful processing.

It almost looks like a miniature village. So beautiful and inviting. You framing and your processing adds an extra dimension to this gorgeous photo. For me this is not a snap, but a very deliberate capture.

Thank you Otto for your astute observations. Indeed I did think about this shot and planned my day and the place carefully.
