The strength of blood ties
Unexpected Joy of Joys: the first and all too brief a visit from
Sao Paulo, my only grandchild, 5 yrs old and her Brazilian Mother,
revealed the amazing and almost immediate close bond twixt her and me.
A bond that was recognised without enforcement and from the heart
with this hitherto unknown beauty, my dead son’s child.
Oh my, the beauty within the tragedy. How lovely to have met this gorgeous, lively creature who shares a huge part of you. I am deeply touched by this.

Paula, you told me of your son. I’m very glad to hear that this little girl has come to see you, this must have been a crushingly good experience for you – I am very happy for you! xxx

Indeed, thank you my friend, it was amazing; the love between us. The two weeks were way too short, hopefully to be repeated some time.
