In praise of Cycling:
Cycling is something we Dutch cannot do without
We are practically born on a bike and suffer without one!
Great to have camera with, you never know what you might see:

Last rays of sunlight on water meadow near my daily cycle route
Gorgeous! The spheres on the left side of the photograph lends the scene an effervescence. Happy cycling, Paula! xo

Glorious shot, Paula. Cycling is fantastic lifestyle and you’re lucky that it’s a natural part of your day.

Gorgeous image and – yes! – you Dutch and your enthusiasm for cycling – the Levels will be ideal! Also, to routinely carry the D3 around on your bike, that speaks to me of real enthusiasm and dedication.

Ha, ha, I have a ‘container’ on the backseat of bike and camera sits in that, until needed!!

Well, careful as this old guy is – and tough as the D3 is! – I hope the container is either suspended or padded! 🙂

Best place I’ve ever cycled so geared up for it makes uk look like we’re living in the medieval period. I’m over again this year different area to cycle but can’t wait. Coffee shops aplenty with gorgeous offerings what’s not to like 😃

Amazing light and so beautifully captured. The Netherlands must be the country with the most amount of bikes (beside China, that is). 🙂

I believe so, old folk and the very young and even refugees are encouraged to cycle. The freedom cycling gives you to to anywhere is so brilliant, not to mention the health benefits. Flat cycle-paths make a difference!

A mesmerizing moment….beautiful. (In an aside, I read in De Volkskrant that there are more bicycles than people in the Netherlands)

Not surprised…many, many ‘orphan’ cycles too nowadays, left tied up somewhere and not collected anymore!
