Your Dog
For most a dog is man’s best friend,
For others the kind of dog is important;
It has to make a statement about his owner:

You are judged by the company you keep!

Terrific photo, Paula. Very strong image, obviously in the subject, but also in the great tones and contrasts.

Really fine picture, and tonality reminds me of baryta-coated warmtone photographic papers with great, deep blacks – i’m delighted 🙂

Love the picture and the thoughts that go behind it – can’t imagine wanting to have anything that makes a statement about me, have luckily never got into that mindset. Also love your commenter’s “Corse u can darlin'”!!! All of this brings something of a lift on an otherwise bleak Sunday morning – thank you!

Lovely crisp photo, the light is amazing! I think that he’s on the phone adds to it somehow – did you ask for a picture, and did he reply “Corse u can darlin'” Lovely looking mutt! 😀

thank you, it was on a trip to Poland I found these two..we could not converse, but chap understood I wanted to take a photo of his hound! and nodded. You could see that the dog was an important part of him.

Sounds almost like an appendage! They can be lovely dogs to have, a friend had one – a real loveable character!
