Summer Storm
Storm, Torrential Rain,
Pouring, all day long causing
the Daisies to hang their pretty heads:

Will it ever stop , rain to make a saint sad, let alone the daisies.

“Rain to make a saint sad….” How eloquent! We are barely hitting 60’s here — summer is playing hard to get. Beautiful spider web there with the capture of raindrops.

Beautifully captured and not the least processed. I can really feel the torrential rain and and almost hear the sigh of the daisies.

Rain here too, Paula. It’s stopping me from getting out on the fells! Hopefully the daisies will lift their pretty heads soon 🙂

Well, this is an English “summer”!!! Very much like the way you’ve processed this, to emphasise the drab, drooping, sadness – and quite apart from all that (its brighter here today), tomorrow we have the election – oh goody!!!

Oh really sad! But different and original! Nice soft effect.

Poetic and a bit forlorn but I also see hope and renewal in your image, too. Love this shot, Paula.
