I sell collectibles and art online and often find the things I've found have hilarious and at times, dark stories to tell. It's thrilling for me to be creatively random, so always expect the unexpected in the things I share with you.

That loneliness can be so painful but the flip side, in cities like New York, is a kind of freedom to be anonymous. And in my small town, there is quite a lot of eye contact but I do know what you mean.

As you know, I pound the streets a lot, usually in the early mornings. And its my experience that many older people do make eye contact and say “Morning!”, and I suppose the earlier hours of the day encourage this trait – we are all out and about in the “quiet, early hours”.
But its younger people who almost never engage at all in any way, and maybe this reflects the less social society they are growing up in – LOL! I remember the advent of TV and the invite into the living room >>> “Come in, sit down and shut up!” đ
