I sell collectibles and art online and often find the things I've found have hilarious and at times, dark stories to tell. It's thrilling for me to be creatively random, so always expect the unexpected in the things I share with you.

I really like when photography becomes a painted image, when a photographer, using the basic photographic means of expression, becomes a painter 🙂

This is a gorgeous photo – like something from one of the great impressionists.

I would blend in instead of getting out. Splendid colours. Well done.

This type of blur – in camera – is not easy: I know, I’ve tried it myself. Good work, Paula – it amplifies that haze of blue which is what we all love about Bluebells.

Thank you Manisha, I presume I take it as a compliment that you think this a painting…it is in fact a photo taken with a slow shutter speed whilst moving the camera slowly up or/and down…you get many failures but sometimes a hit!

Oh I absolutely love this, Paula! It is the sort of picture (amongst many other sorts!) that I like anyway, but you’ve produced this really well, and the colour of the bluebells is the icing on the cake! Great stuff! And Dartington reminds me of a long ago partner in Totnes – good memories, I must say. A 🙂
