I sell collectibles and art online and often find the things I've found have hilarious and at times, dark stories to tell. It's thrilling for me to be creatively random, so always expect the unexpected in the things I share with you.

Brilliant framing and processing on this, Paula – I really like the alternating strong lights and darks. They reveal the shapes and the orderliness so well. But no, I wouldn’t want to have to take care of a Victorian home.

Looks like a painting. Very artistic shot. I wonder how it would look in colour, only to see the difference. Well done.

I like this very much, Paula, both the composition and the contrasty processing – is this a view from your new place?

Not from my flat…from walkabout in Clevedon…quite difficult to get the light and the right viewpoint together!

Wonderfully graphic. Seems like they have a lot of fireplaces 😀

They have indeed, stems from the days the rich had one in every room and maids to lay the fires and light them at ungodly hours of the day. Lucky most are not used anymore..the belching smoke is not tolerated by most! Thank you , Cornelis.
