Boarded up in Liverpool
So many people needing homes,
Refugees desperate for safety and a roof,
There are rows and rows of boarded up streets in Liverpool:

Boarded up Victorian houses, street after street, you can sense the lost souls still roaming
That’s a wonderful sky to capture in this leafless tree portrait.

simply amazing and what makes it unique may be the tree in the center 🙂

Almost expecting one of those roaming lost souls to be Andy Capp running away from the rolling pin.

The houses and tree look magnificent against the cloud cover. Sad to see them unoccupied, they could provide good housing. Planning to explore Liverpool during a trip to North Wales/Anglesey this year … it’s a great city.

You can, indeed, sense those lost souls roaming…

Good image, almost apocalyptic, and certainly helped by the tilt of the lens. These houses may be due for demolition but, still, they could be used.

It’s an amazing photo. Love the tones, particularly in the sky. And yes, it’s a big tragedy with all the refugees seeking safety in Europe and not finding a place to stay.

A sad sight made even more dramatic by the clouds that seem to emanate from the tree.

Yes, it would be a solution for refugees, specially families.
