I sell collectibles and art online and often find the things I've found have hilarious and at times, dark stories to tell. It's thrilling for me to be creatively random, so always expect the unexpected in the things I share with you.

This has raised some very interesting and pertinent Comments. I’m with Michael, its about changing one’s mind, one’s outlook, one’s perspective on things. Although I’m no expert – although I do have the input of a psychologist friend – its very interesting to stand back and look at the ways in which we – humans! – behave. And I very much take cpluzc’s point about the mores of a limited group.

It’s hard work, but it should be possible!

the mores of the limited group can become moral coercion

Except for the fact that the chain is actually made of thread. It simply requires changing one’s mind.

We can escape but do we really want to? Also for many the uncomfortable truth is that fear prevents us or at least holds us back.

For many, it seems to be better the devil you know than the devil you don’t. As for your second point, that’s why we don’t realize it’s made of thread.
